NOTE: September's Lunch will be on the 22nd
instead of the 15th.
We will be having lunch with the 8th
graders at the Hollis-Brookline Middle School on the third Tuesday of the
month during the school season. First lunch date will be December 16.
Lunch will be $3.00 (same as before). The school will clear some parking
spaces for us at the south end of the front of the school. Please arrive at
11:15 AM and go in the front south-east door, not the main door. Students
will be there to greet us and escort us to the cafeteria. Meal will be
served at 11:30. It will be cafeteria style where you walk into the
cafeteria and choose your own portions and selections. Students will bring
food to those of us who are unable to get thru the line but the “chow line”
can accommodate wheel chairs and walkers. Students can accompany us thru
the line if we prefer. There will be no entertainment, only socializing
with the students. If something comes up, at the school, where they are
unable to do the meal on that Tuesday, they will either simply cancel that
day or schedule another day. I told them to expect about 30 people, so
don’t disappoint me! We will have a sign up sheet at the Lawrence Barn
Thursday Dec 11 to sign up so we can tell the school how many to expect.
